They are also visually appealing and easy to read because of the list formatting. Short, sweet, and to the point, which is what most consumers are looking for through their online searching.
2. “The Ultimate Guide to…”
Taking expanded list posts one step further, content posts taking the approach of “The Ultimate Guide to…” gives a business the opportunity to showcase their full knowledge of the business and build trust with both your current and future customers. These types of articles give the business a chance to include a lot of information in one place, as well as link to other resources or businesses that could act as partners to your brand. Bonus, if you can get featured in another business’s “Ultimate Guide” and get linked back to your page, your SEO gets boosted through the use of what is called, backlinks.
3. The tools of the trade
Offering something valuable to your potential customers can be a game changer. This is how you gain interest in that you know what you are doing (through your service) or are refined in what you are selling (through your products). Recommending tools or platforms that you love to use will provide valuable insight as to how you operate your business, and how someone else can run their business just as successfully. Your goal should be to build trust – that you offer an invaluable service or a much-needed product.
4. Influencer connections
A new form of “word-of-mouth” marketing is connecting with social media micro-influencers, which are users that have between 1,000 and 100,000 social media followers and uses their social media presence to promote products relevant to their interests or expertise. For typically a cheaper price than trying to advertise with “big” accounts – think a travel blogger showcasing a certain airline’s benefits or a SAHM page posting a video of the family’s new toy developing their child’s fine motor skills. People purchasing something in 2024 value authenticity, and the right micro-influencer will be a voice for a brand or product they truly believe in.
